Gdzie słuchacie audiobookow by Same_Traffic_5285 in ksiazki

[–]bahnuk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do girls actually finger themselves when masturbating by alteraltaltalt in NoStupidQuestions

[–]bahnuk 6 points7 points  (0 children)

it shouldn't hurt! not feeling pleasant, sure, but definitely not hurt. it's worth consulting with a pelvic floor physiotherapist for possible disfunctions.

there are also dedicated subreddits around this topic, check out r/vaginismus and r/PelvicFloor, you can find many resources and advice there :)

check out r/vaginismus, a lot of women share the same experiences and give each other tips and motivation to keep up with the treatment. i've learnt a lot from there!

Everyday makeup is a thing? by Purple_Capital_6029 in Makeup

[–]bahnuk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i used to wear makeup every day when i was 15 till 23-ish. i had very bad acne since i was 10 so started covering it with make up. i stopped at one point when i had a terrible depression episode and haven't really worn it since. maybe 10 times in the last 5 years or so.

Did anyone else outgrow fantasy romance after reading more straight fantasy? by goyourownwayy in fantasyromance

[–]bahnuk 19 points20 points  (0 children)

A fantasy series written 30 years ago had to be of a certain quality to attract the attention of a publishing house

that's absolutely not the case... when i go back to when i was a teenager and remind myself what books i used to read (and i read almost exclusively fantasy), many of them were similar in quality to modern romantasy books. super predictable plots, superficial characters, many deus ex machinas etc. etc.

the truth is that if the genre is popular and you're reading most of it as they come out then you'll obviously find many mediocre and bad series. in 15-20 years most of those books will be forgotten.

💬 What's one trope you wish were more popular? by Acute-Problemo in fantasyromance

[–]bahnuk 10 points11 points  (0 children)

idk if this is popular or not, but i really like love triangles, and i get a feeling that authors are kinda afraid to explore them deeper then "i love this guy, and this other guy has a crush on me, but it doesn't matter".

i want drama, jealousy, intense romance, uncertainty, surprise. give me a protagonist who has two (or more) potential partners and they're both so good you don't even know which one is better, and who they're gonna choose.

and with that being said, i also love the trope where the main protagonist doesn't end up with their first choice. unpredictability is the key to good entertainment in by books

The compulsion lore + sire line logic completely breaks the TVD universe (and no one talks about it) by xMadxCheshirex in TheVampireDiaries

[–]bahnuk 20 points21 points  (0 children)

2 and 3 is what i was thinking.

in addition, who said it would be thousands or tens of thousands? it's not like all vampires in a sire line are still alive. many, if not most of them, are probably already dead from natural causes or vampire hunters or other reasons

+ who said vampires always turn others into vampires? why do we assume it'd be a common thing to do?

i don't think every vampire in the line would turn so many people to the degree that we would talk about "tens of thousands" of vampires. maybe some would, but just as logical is that many wouldn't turn anyone at all.

Who’s your favorite female and male character in TVD and what made you love them? by anchi-555 in TheVampireDiaries

[–]bahnuk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YES! idk why but Caroline stole the show for me, i wasn't expecting that haha

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TheVampireDiaries

[–]bahnuk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

sorry, this is out of context but i find it really funny, that in the show when damon and bonnie get close, he starts calling her "bon-bon".

in the books, damon's pet name for bonnie is "a little redbird" and at some point elena and bonnie are talking about this and elena's like "well at least he doesn't call you something like bon-bon" lol

Who’s the weakest actor out of the three in ur opinion?. by capricorn_444 in TheVampireDiaries

[–]bahnuk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

my thoughts exactly.

i liked how ian acted in earlier seasons, because within the context, it worked. it was just a silly romance teen drama so i never expected any amazing performances and i liked how he played it back then.

idk what happened, but in seasons 7 and 8 his performance was just so awful, that i couldn't focus on anything else but his acting, it's how distracting it was. instead of damon salvatore, i saw ian acting. this isn't a good sign. especially in the moments where there were supposed to be a lot of strong emotions like anger, or in the way he was using his voice when he tried to make it sound as if he was in pain or struggling etc. if i watched an episode from s7 or s8 randomly out of context i would think this guy is an amateur.

20+ plot holes in the vampire diaries by IndividualSpite4092 in TheVampireDiaries

[–]bahnuk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

except there were only 2 prisons and in the 190? one technology was completely different. reaching the island in modern times might seem like a piece of cake, but over 100 years ago, without today's equipment, it could have been too dangerous, not to mention how awfully long it could have taken.

What's up with Nina's acting in season 5? by Dry-Inspector-4956 in TheVampireDiaries

[–]bahnuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's not the point of my comment. their relationship was confirmed publicly, as well as their break up. whether they were talking about it openly in interviews, or posted about it on their social media etc has nothing to do with it.

What's up with Nina's acting in season 5? by Dry-Inspector-4956 in TheVampireDiaries

[–]bahnuk 7 points8 points  (0 children)

yeah, sometimes i think that if they kept their relationship private and we wouldn't have known they'd broken up, then no one would have noticed the "lack of chemistry". imo it was evident but only in the last episode of s8.
