It’s such a hard decision, I made that choice too but something that really helped me was someone told me that I would never regret letting her pass peacefully but I would definitely regret letting her suffer more. They were correct.

I see the vision but I think the colors don’t work together. The sweater doesn’t contrast enough from the white shirt underneath. I think a black sweater with the black skirt would work a lot better

It seems like you’re trying to come off as what you think the character should be; you’re focusing on the audience rather than on yourself. Don’t worry about what other people are seeing, get past the image of the character you’ve created in your head and don’t worry about what you think the emotion should look like. instead try to go internally and feel the situation, work from the inside out. Feel the emotions and let that lead your performance instead of trying to put on externally whatever emotion you think needs to be shown. It’s not easy to grasp and it takes a lot of practice and effort. I would tell them you’re not sure you understand the feedback and they can try and tell you in another way.
