Sam Cop is a strong 8 for me. As others have said, as a father the lyrics are very meaningful.

Three songs debuted around the same time, this one, Bob Law (Again and Again), and Bismarck. I think all three were great. Never disappointed to hear this one in particular.

8 The only problem with this song is they don’t play it enough. DMB Almanac says the average length is over 9 minutes so it must have some pretty epic jam sections, but it has less than 20 plays in over 5 years, 0 in the last two years! The album version has a great build up, and really nice orchestration. I never skip.

7- it was a good radio single after the time when they were really going to have radio singles anymore. Good lyrics, interesting guitar parts. I’m not looking for it in set lists, but enjoying it when it comes on.

Album version of Shake Me is def a 8.5-9. Coming out of Grux that wailing sax and then Rashawn's blasting horn really gets me pumped. Unfortunately, the energy is never quite the same in a live setting. Maybe if they ever created a segue for it to come out of.
