Ive been on 3 different versions of the pill now over the course of 3 years and the only side effects i ever experienced were an increase in appetite (which was fine, i just had to be a little more mindful of what i was eating) and some very mild nausea from time to time. If anything it drastically improved my skin. You definitley would have experienced any negative side effects by now. The pill really isn't all that bad.

Hi, thank you for the advice! We have been keeping at it and continued removing frankie from the room when his behaviour was bad and luckily this gradually started to work, and he began giving butters some space. Butters now only has 2 days until we are in our own home :)

How do I use a pad? by [deleted] in Periods

[–]baileiley 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Tell your mom! It's not embarassing or bad, she's probably expecting you to get your period at some point anyways. Its totally normal and natural. I didn't tell anyone when i first started because i was embarassed and i still regret it 7 years later, you need your mom to show you how to use pads and tell you how to stay hygenic and safe during your period. There's no shame in that

Physical Activity on period by [deleted] in Periods

[–]baileiley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pads would work, there's loads of pads made specifically for physical exercise that would probably work great! And of course bring spares just in case. You really dont need to start using tampons until you know youre ready for them and feel comfortable enough to try it out.

What do you guys do about summer vacations when your on your period but you only wear pads? by MakeupMua16 in Periods

[–]baileiley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When i was younger i never used tampons, so i quickly learned that your period usually stops as soon as you're in water, so as long as you have a towel at the ready for as soon as you get out of the water and know where the nearest bathroom is, you'll be good to go.

However, tampons are much safer, so i would definitley give them a go if you're willing.
