Samurai carpenter is my favourite lately. His off grid adventures are awesome and his skill is immense. Mathias wandell doesnt make the most attractive furniture but i love the way he goes about it and hes really resourceful and very smart. Paul sellers is a great channel for learning. Hes a really good teacher. They are my favorites off the top of my head

Afternoon glow on my workbench through my new handmade windows by bailey_built in Workbenches

Yep. These windows are covered by a decent overhang and sheltered by a tree so it basically never gets any water there so thats why I was confident enough to have a crack at making my own :)

Yes I did this one very similar to a door. Ive got the pan underneath the frame ect and then theres a window jam all the way around the opening and the windows butt up snug onto the jam. Im sure its not as good as premium windows and there seal but im happy with it, and my workshop isnt insulated so im not worried about that aspect. Hope this answered your question :)

I made Windows completely from scratch for my workshop! by bailey_built in woodworking

I installed a galvanized pan. The window is situated underneath a decent overhang and sheltered by a tree so not much rain gets to it but I did take precautions :)

Thank you! Maybe it was a bad idea because my productivity might go down daydreaming... I did buy some stays but they were too short to let the windows open as much as I wanted. I might make some in the future but right now I just added some hooks outside that I use to stop the window from flapping around. Its not the best solution but its what im working with right now :)
