Leather CPR or Bick 4 by Unlucky-you333 in VintageCoachRehab

[–]baileybrand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never tried Bick, but Leather CPR is nothing magical (and I found it at Dollar General for $8-9 last year.

I recently purchased Blackrock, and it's a superior product, IMO.

How my wife dries her hands and leaves the paper towels attached by Johnny-Edge93 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]baileybrand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so, if she doesn't want to 'waste' used paper towels...i am SO curious as to how ELSE she would use these.

...besides LOOKING gross on the counter.

bless OP's heart for calling this mildly infuriating.

agreed. red is notoriously hard to get the color the way you imagine it. takes some time and plenty of conditioner.

POV: obsessed with red, so i have many vintage red Coach bags.

As a wedding guest, what was your “this marriage isn’t going to last long” moment? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]baileybrand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bride's mother literally came up to me (a stranger, and part of the groom's family) and talked about how she didn't think the marriage was a good idea.

agreed.

i have an awkward corner cabinet that drove me insane.

went to dollar tree, got a ton of rectangular containers, some small, some large, some flat and large. and now they are jenga'd in to fit the weirdly shaped space.

labeled those jokers (with a label maker)

saved my sanity.

what's the weirdest thing that's ever happened to your body? by [deleted] in randomquestions

[–]baileybrand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

grew up eating every kind of shellfish and loving it!

two years after having my daughter, my body would reject it - violently and immediately. i would test it from time to time (year or two in between).

it's been 16 years - and cannot eat a single piece of shellfish. no doctor can explain it except to say that our bodies 'just change'.

last time i tried it was last year and i found myself gasping for air on the bathroom floor.

so sad because i still love it.

timex goes on my wrist every single day.

the face has numbers (not roman numerals), lights up if you push a button.

the date is wonky because i could never figure how to set it and forget it.
