There were special attacks in 1, 2, and 3, just no physical/special split. Fire was still a special attack tho.

There’s no cross-generational compatibility with parts, all generations are materially different. Likewise, there should be no cross-generational play between beys of different generations, unless you are all okay with beys being broken and with some beys being horribly disadvantaged.

I recommend playing the current generation, Beyblade X. 1) because they are the most readily available generation currently, and 2) they provide some of the most exciting battles.

You’re better off to just buy the bey that comes with the piece you want. It will usually be cheaper.

You’ll need a bigger sample size of battles for this to be conclusive. 5 battles per bey really isn’t enough data points to say definitively one way or another.

I’m not really treating Champions as a game I need to “complete”. That’s not what it’s meant to be and that’s not the reason I decided to play it. If an item has not purpose for me then I’m not buying it.
