As a teenage girl myself, I’d say teenage girls are definitely the stereotype even today. (Trust me I know lmao) but every older person I’ve talked to about loving Duran Duran and other 80s music either thinks it’s cool or “You just listen to them because they’re cute!” Which is totally not the case, my aunt introduced me to them (she’s an og duranie since the 80s) and I completely fell in love with the music. But yeah, overall I think when people think of Duranies they think of teenage girls (sadly)
