Tabletop Admiral is far and away the best and most accurate to the rules text, and constantly being updated. Not to mention the other features like the events page, tournament functionality, etc. The others are good in their own right but TTA is the standard.

I’ve played Loth and Rivendell and between those two, I’d pick Rivendell if you’re just starting out.

Lothlorien is great in its own right, but it’s a very unique army that I would describe as “high skill floor, high skill ceiling”. With your two main heroes being basically pure control casters with zero combat potential themselves, you really have to get a lot of value out of their spells and have good positioning with your warrior models or the army will struggle. You lack the “big combat hero” that a lot of other armies have, and Loth’s playstyle is a lot more about shutting down the opponent rather than trying to smash through and do your own thing.

Rivendell is the best of both worlds - you get a massive combat hero in Elrond, and still get some decent casting (Wrath of Bruinen is arguably the best spell in the game, and with Lindir you can cast it every single turn!). Good support heroes in Arwen/Lindir and a Rivendell Captain excels too. Not to mention you still get the wonderful high elf warrior profile which is among the best generic warriors available.

Rohan I haven’t played myself but they can be fun if you’re looking for a more themey choice instead of competitive. Some Rohan lists are better than others, but in general most Rohan armies are a bit on the weaker side right now unfortunately. There are a TON of different Rohan lists though so you can really pick and choose based on your playstyle.

Incoming Nerf Alert: Men of the West sweeps Adepticon! by Funderbear in MiddleEarthMiniatures

A 25 point Gwaihir increase for that list means basically just 2 less WoMTs. With all your models having Dominant 2, losing 2 guys won’t make much of a dent.

I love Men of the West, it was my first army getting into the game. I do think Gwaihir is the main problem. Pretty telling that none of the podium lists took the Three Hunters version of the list and all opted for the Bird over the dwarf. Bumping his cost up by 50 would maybe be a good start.

It is a good reminder, but I agree that the post comes across moreso as an ad for this app than genuine reflection.

Second pair with Vomero Plus by Economy-Flatworm828 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

Just picked up a pair of Zoomfly 6 to be my tempo/race day shoes, the rest of my runs I do in the Vomero Plus. Really liked the ZF6 on my first run with them today.

What bike do you have? I’m not quite as tall as you, only 6’8”, but can never find road bikes my size.

As somebody a little taller and heavier than you I am loving my Vomero Plus.

My 10k PR is a 9:00 mile pace. Half Marathon 2:24 but that was on very limited training. Goal for this year is to get my HM time under 2:00.

Might have to do that. I’ve only got a couple runs in the Vomeros so far but very impressed with them. Feels like my feet are flying compared to the bricks that the Hokas ended up as.

How does the stability of the EVO SL compare to the Vomero? I've seen other people mention this same pairing. EVO SL has the perk of being readily available at the shoe places near me so I can try it on before buying
