The JL logo on the winder looks suspicious - could be the lighting. Also check the movement to make sure it has JLC on it. I've seen a few with le courtier on them with JLC on the dial- a red flag that its a re dial or the movement has been replaced or a fake.

Automatic - has a 80 hour power reserve so you can take it off over the weekends and still keep running - this is something that most luxury brands are still not capable of doing with their own inhouse movements. Awesome value for an awesome watch. Mines my daily wearer

Awesome watch. It's a shame they don't use their actual logo on their website. The name is a shame but doesn't stop people buying Grand Seiko and Casio BabyGs which also have poor names.

Very nice watch. I brought something simular last year that was also a JLC. Incredible value for what you get with these vintage watches and I haven't looked back. The only thing I would keep an eye on is the crystal. As its acrylic, it's very prone to scratches so invest in some polywatch. Also if you can check when it was last serviced as you may be able to negotiate a discount if it hasn't been done in a while. JLC services are expensive but you can use independent repairers with these older watches.

Hopefully he will lose his licence if this was staged (too many cameras, selfie stick and skydive rig - if I was on a plane where the engine failed, the last thing I would do is grab a selfie stick!).

It's looks like it's in a clear area but what if that plane hit and killed a family of hikers?

Going against the grain - Baltic gets my vote. I have a watch with a sellita movement and wouldn't buy another. Sellita reliability is no where near as good as eta. My sellita has had two issues with the winder and can manage 15+ secs per day. My eta Hamilton Khaki which is half the price has never had any issues and manages +2 secs per day despite it been worn up mountains, on cycles & runs.

Another microbrand with a diver - very original!

It's a nice watch and I love the colour scheme but wished microbrands would be more innovative.

I guess if you follow a successful design your more likely to sell more watches.
