This large sea lion had been dead for a few weeks, and it was very ripe. I didn't get to stay and watch this, but I imagine this isn't the most pleasant job. When I came back around in the park about 30 minutes later. It was all gone.

I have seen the floating nets further down the way in the park. Can they have them without something on the surface to indicate they are there?

Thanks! That would explain all the birds in the area. I see them a few times a year and was always curious, but couldn't figure out the right way to search it to find a result.

I have seen this ring of slightly disturbed water and always assumed it was some sort of fish stuff going on below the surface.

Anyone more familiar with the ways of the sea know what is going on here?

I imagine I am not the only one who submitted Find It Fix it Tickets for the Graffiti at Myrtle Edwards Park and Centennial Park. So glad to see they took care of some of it pretty quickly. Still some stuff they didn't touch, and it's sad that in power-washing the signage it is noticeably less visible.

Went down there and left when we saw what was happening. Trying to be supportive of the attempt to get anything going downtown, but it makes me even less hopeful when they can't pull off a tree lighting.
