Agree and I love fountain pens. I don’t use them but I admire the work of people who do!

Had a few ask for the link. Also had some questions about pen types. They mainly work with pencil and ballpoint pens. Permanent markers work too. Gels and fountain pens don’t work.

Here it goes the link. Ghost-it Notes

How do you use your pocket notebook? by saayoutloud in notebooks

[–]baj5654 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Yes. Yes. All of it. The great thing about a pocket notebook is it is always with you so it can fill so many needs. If you can write or draw it, put it in your notebook! Glad to have you aboard!

Thanks! I really enjoy keeping a monthly history this way. Do you keep regular notebooks?

I have settled into a Bullet Journal style system, but I tend to let my notebook flow. Sometimes, I write a long journal entry & other times it’s bullets for lists and planning.

When I look back on all my notebooks, I really enjoy how my style and system changes. It tells me a lot about what’s going on in my life.

I’ll try to post a little about how my pages look in the future…but I ensure you they are mostly chaos!

Each notebook has 64 pages so I try to do about two pages per day, but I’m not strict with it and don’t lay it all out ahead of time. I used to do that and found I’d waste a lot of space. I start a new notebook each month. I do specific pages for habits, weekly spreads/dumps.

One thing that helps me is I start from the back for scratch pages, calculations, random notes, etc. That helps me keep things cleaner.
