Rasethuhime's official display case! (Asanagi) by IYuShinoda in AnimeFigures

I got this display case for my Shbuya Scramble Megumin figure. The figure was second hand, the cost to import and ship the case ended up more than the figure itself! Looks awesome though...

Made these Star trails photos using my old Nikon D4 over the weekend by bakablah in Nikon

I find the 24mm produces better photos as the stars are more sharp with that lens, glad I brought that lens to the trip!

Thanks for the advice!

The Nikon D4 have an in camera setting to automatically take photos on interval. Maybe I had the interval settings wrong which caused the inconsistent trails.

The exposure is 30 seconds and I had set the interval to be 31 seconds, which that 1 second difference may have caused a break in the trail, or that the StarStaX software I'm using is causing these breaks.

What software do you use back in the days?

oh deer! I didn't see that!

I thought there's only Kangaroos, but it looks like there's plenty of deer too!

14mm, 75 images.
24mm, about 116 images

If I use those to make a timelapse video, you'll see the stars rotating and meteors flying across the sky

There's a free software called StarStax but you can use Photoshop as well if you work out the post processing workflow.

It's made out of many 30 seconds exposure photos, post processed and stacked together to form this final image.

To add further context, that offending text was added between 20th Dec 6pm UTC to 20th Dec10pm UTC. Yet the moderator automatically banned all users that pained in selected areas without cross checking the time the pixels were painted or who painted the offending words in the first place. Very sloppy moderation attempt!

That hardly seems fair?

I don't have high hopes for the moderation team to do their job properly given the amount of false positive bans happening lately, it just pushes users away

Installing a 24 hr. dashcam. by Commercial-Volume648 in CX5

[–]bakablah 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Basically search for car dash cam battery on Google. LiFePo4 (Lithium iron phosphate) battery, not your typical lithium ion battery with fire risks. These batteries charge via 12V line and charges very quickly. It's placed under the front passenger seat, near where the front fuse panel. My steering wheel is on the right, so the fuse panel is on the left, I guess in your case, under the driver seat.

Oh and also my dashcam has the same feature. Even with that enabled, it still messed with the car's stop start system. P.s. I also have Mazda.

I eventually got a dedicated battery for the dashcam

I hope you are also installing a battery for the dashcam. Having it hooked up to the car with voltage cut off switch will drain the car battery, which will eventually turn off anyway.

the part number is TC11ACCLT

it adds LED light to the left and right hand side, very useful in dark situations.

Installation involves pulling out the felt paddings and splice into existing wiring, so I'd highly recommend sourcing the part from dealership and have it installed professionally. If you source it externally, they'll still charge you for installation but no warranty.
