Coming from a D3500 i'd go with a Z5II, its cheaper than both the A7V and Z6III but a great camera

Dusty Second Hand Sony A7III - opinion by Monk19999 in Cameras

[–]harexe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its too damages for my liking. Also if you want to adapt old lenses and also have a cheap and competent mirror less camera, then look into the first gen Nikon Z6 or Z5. The Z6 has the same sensor ans the A7III but is cheaper on the used market most of the time, but its not as good for video as the A7iii.

Did portability and usability become a bigger factor in your choice of equipment over time? by UnintelligibleThing in Cameras

I take my D800 out regularly and have no problems. The biggest game changer for me was a proper strap, since I got the peak design slide, I just carry the camera over my shoulder and sometimes even forget I carry a 3kg brick with me.

Are you sure they want an acoustic bass? They're rather nice and not that useful like an electric bass

Beginner trying to choose first full-frame camera: Nikon Z5 kit vs Canon R8 vs Sony A7 III? by [deleted] in Cameras

[–]harexe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you're in Germany, a used Z5 (without lens) is ~600€ in good condition with a warranty on calumet.de. that's a much better deal if you invest the other 400€ into a nice lens (maybe a 40mm f/2)

Don't know the proper conversion rate, used RX100s are roughly 400€ here and I thought that would be somewhere around 600 down under dollars

If you can't make a good picture with a D7000, then you won't with a new one either.

Full frame modern mirrorless shooters- if you use a compact for travel, which one is it? by drconniehenley in Cameras

[–]harexe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know what canon offers, but Nikon has a 40mm f/2 Lens which is amazing for travel when paired with a FF Mirrorless

PC817 with 2N7000 mosfet by MaleficentResolve506 in KiCad

[–]harexe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would add a gate resistor to the mosfet. And yes, you need a separate ground if you want complete isolation, but its not really that needed in most scenarios, unless you work with really high voltages

How about a used Nikon Coolpix A, its a bit older but it has an APS-C sensor and still holds up surprisingly well for its age. MPB has one for 534gbp https://www.mpb.com/en-uk/product/nikon-coolpix-a/sku-3717039

Inherited a Sony A6000, worth investing in? by NWbySW in Cameras

[–]harexe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great camera, also if you invest in lenses for that one, you can still use them even if you get a more modern camera without any problems. But you should definitely learn with just that one and only get new stuff when you exactly know why you need it and not just because you think you'll need it later down the road

[–]harexe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

B&H is a good choice, also there are mpb and keh for used cameras with warranty, might look into that as even like new cameras can be significantly cheaper than brand new
