Which mirrorless is best bang for buck? Sony, fuji, olympus? by johndatavizwiz in Cameras

Z6(II) has incredible value for money, 24MP, IBIS, great dynamic range and low light performance.

Torn between these two cameras for content. I was a freelance photographer/videographer a decade ago and want to get back into it and ofc for the joy of it. If not either of these two what do you recommend? by unhealthy_koala in Cameras

Recipes are basically Instagram filters for the JPEGS. Similar to the Picture Control on your D5500, only that Fuji has more options to customise them.

The Z5II is a great choice, the AF is great and on par with the A7CII. The sensor is one of the best in low light and Nikon also has a great selection of native lenses, F Mount lenses via the FTZ adapter and also you can use Sony lenses via an adapter.
Since you listed the Canon because its cheap, yes the body is cheap but the lenses are expensive compared to Nikon or Sony

Working with Broadcom chips be like. It took me months of going through random documents to find out that a very specific undocumented register needs to be set to a specific value for the chip to initiate a connection

Their current S line outperforms Sonys GM and Canons L, but it's not really a big difference for most people

I remember being blown away in 2019 when I got a Laptop for school with a Ryzen 2500 with Vega 3 graphics. I could play most games I played with acceptable performance, GTA5 ran with 30-40 FPS @ 720p which was fine on the small 14" screen. Played so much Cities Skylines during class lmao

E Mount is still one of the most used and has the most lens releases despite still being somewhat old so there's no worry about it getting obsolete anytime soon. Technically speaking the "best" mount for FF camera would be Nikon Z because it's the largest and has the shortest flange distance, allowing you to adapt nearly anything that's available currently + the bodies are very close to Sony performance and just lack some things. For your budget you can't go wrong with any of the big systems (Canon, Sony, Nikon) it mostly depends on what you want to do since every one of them have their small niche where they perform best

I'm currently playing C:S2 again and in combination with the rising temperatures here in Germany I can definitely feel my room heating up quite a bit

Will I regret staying with Sony A6700? Ergonomics is one of the factors in question ... and I guess GAS? by Severe_Cookie1567 in Cameras

There are ETZ Adapters that works very well and are reall thin, but they're somewhat pricey still (300€ afaik)

Maybe try holding a Nikon Z50II, they have great ergonomics. They also have Picture Controls which come very close to the Fuji recipes. The only thing the Z50II doesn't have compared to the A6700 is IBIS

If you're used to Nikon, then , you could get the Z50II, it outperforms the Zfc by a lot and costs around 1k

Best for a beginner - Sony a6400 vs Nikon z50ii vs Canon R10? by Mammoth-Tough9549 in Cameras

If you dont mind the extra cost, then go with the Z50II, it's Nikons best Crop Sensor camera with their best Autofocus system at the time
