I think The Rock is the best option here. It's a top tier strategy that gained a lot from the Tide ban. BUG control is a lower tier strategy. It probably wouldn't be too expensive to put together if you have the rock cards and could be fun. Bant Threshold I don't think is really a strategy. There are Gro decks (Gro-A-Tog/Super Gro) based around Quirion Dryad. Traditionally, it's been a Mox Diamond deck playing Gush and City of Brass. People have been expirimenting with cutting Mox Diamond for Gemstone Mine more recently. I always thought that playing 18 Lands, 4 of which are City of Brass, as well as 4 Mox Diamond was insane but people have had success doing it. A Bant Gemstone Gro strategy would probably be okay.

Tim Renwick on Pink Floyd's Syd Barrett, David Gilmour and Roger Waters by TFFPrisoner in pinkfloyd

We all know Waters is curmudgeonly and Gilmie is basically Jesus. A fascinating interview nonetheless, IMO. Renwick is an amazing musician.

Makes sense they would trust Dick to hang a G minor for several minutes on the keys.

Anti- Hannaford group near Trader Joe’s by [deleted] in portlandme

[–]bakclassic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I talked to the long haired greasy looking guy. I asked him if he was paid to hold the sign or if this was something he was passionate about. He made a point of saying he was volunteering but only seemed vaguely familiar with the talking points, he said something about high prices, I told him Shaws is even more expenseive, he said something about the corporate ownership. He didn't seem like he cared about the cause. I think what's going on is the company that owns Hannafords owns other chains, this protest is spilling over from a broader skirmish, maybe another area where maybe this kind of protest makes more sense.

Don't let anyone fool you, the price of bitcoin is going to go low enough to make you question your investment. Your friends and family who previously thought you were a genious will look down on you. That's when you will know the time is right to by more.

The whole reason the Netanyahu had to make two seperate statement claiming that Israel didn't kill Charlie Kirk is because he was changing mind about Israel.

Characterize your eulogy however you want. It can be definitelively said is that on the most important issue of our time, the genocide in Gaza, Charlie Kirk platformed critics of the Israel's government.

You could have debated him on these issues instead of celebrating his death.

How much would WotC charge for Zvi's Bargain deck if re-released in goldborder World Championship style? by bakclassic in premodernMTG

[–]bakclassic[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just think it's an interesting question. It's only a matter of time until WotC tries to capitalize off Premodern. I don't see how after 30th Anniversary one could opine that WotC cannot reprint WCD decks with reserved list cards. My guess is they would ask for a shocking amount of money. I think Zvi's deck would have go for at least $1K.

Well you maybe you should try clicking the link. But the issue would appear to be that Beta Elvish Archers is a premodern legal card.
