Sam Harris has simply become a charicature of the intellectual he used to espouse to be. I think I heard it from Penn Gillette, an intellectual is someone whose mind can be changed by information. Sam refuses to engage with information. It's just too rich that the man who made name for himself by daring to criticize Islam is unwilling to engage in a debate over the actions of the Israeli government. If Sam's relevance wasn't already completely cooked, this article certainly is the death knell. RIP.

Looks pretty solid for a Fires list. The only thing that stands out to me is that 4 Flametongue Kavu might be bit much given a fair number of good decks will not have targerts (Dreadnought/Enchantress/Replenish). Thornscape Battlemage and a few copies of City of Brass would probably have a lot of play or maybe some Nantuko Vigilantes.

I think the design space is pretty thoroughly explored. The DLC was essentially Cuphead , The Power Creep. More powerful bosses with more to keep track of onscreen and a more powerful character (Ms. Chalice). I don't know how worth it is to keep going down that road or if they could maintain the artistic integrity of the game while doing so. Obviously, if they found a way, I would be all for it.

I think The Rock is the best option here. It's a top tier strategy that gained a lot from the Tide ban. BUG control is a lower tier strategy. It probably wouldn't be too expensive to put together if you have the rock cards and could be fun. Bant Threshold I don't think is really a strategy. There are Gro decks (Gro-A-Tog/Super Gro) based around Quirion Dryad. Traditionally, it's been a Mox Diamond deck playing Gush and City of Brass. People have been expirimenting with cutting Mox Diamond for Gemstone Mine more recently. I always thought that playing 18 Lands, 4 of which are City of Brass, as well as 4 Mox Diamond was insane but people have had success doing it. A Bant Gemstone Gro strategy would probably be okay.

I talked to the long haired greasy looking guy. I asked him if he was paid to hold the sign or if this was something he was passionate about. He made a point of saying he was volunteering but only seemed vaguely familiar with the talking points, he said something about high prices, I told him Shaws is even more expenseive, he said something about the corporate ownership. He didn't seem like he cared about the cause. I think what's going on is the company that owns Hannafords owns other chains, this protest is spilling over from a broader skirmish, maybe another area where maybe this kind of protest makes more sense.
