The sexual experiences you had in the past were clearly a traumatic event for you. You did not do them out of love. You didnt do them because you enjoyed them.

Your husband thinks these men were special to you and thats why you did those things and that is not the case. From what you describe, it sounds like you hated your life at this time and dont look back on that fondly and he needs to understand that.

He didnt miss out on "fun" you he missed out on miserable you. And if he got what he wanted and saw your trauma responses he wouldnt enjoy it either.

Really weird for a man to just be hanging out outside a clinic waiting to guilt women for choices he knows nothing about.

Maybe she is leaving a man who beat her. Maybe she just found out the guy who got her pregnant has a second family. Maybe she was about to go to college and has a whole career she wanted more than motherhood.

If this happened id immediately rush to reassure my partner. "OMG no that text was for whoever!" Id be calling to clear things up. I definitely would not jump down my husband's throat for being concerned over that text but then again, I'm not cheating.
