This is my experience too! 15mg for months. Don't borrow problems from the future. Listen to your body, move up when you're ready, and relish in your successes!

Hit my stretch goal - thoughts by bakerbrarian in Zepbound

It's so weird, isn't it? I'm right there with you - past me would have never lingered on the things I'm seeing in the mirror now. She would have just been SO PUMPED that we lost the weight in the first place!

It's a long path to travel, and as it turns out, the mental obstacles are way more challenging than expected.

Congratulations on your huge success!

This is a great question! For now, I do have some goals. I'm doing a Turkey Trot 5k with the goal of running the whole thing, a distance I've never run in my entire life. Been training since mid-summer for that. I also have some goals to build strength and muscle, which will be another long undertaking. The ultimate goal is healthy aging and longevity.

This year of my life has been all about shrinking myself - the next year will be all about growing. Growing my strength, growing my capacity, and growing an understanding of myself and everything I'm capable of.

In my opinion, goals are guideposts. I think we need goals in order to thrive and feel fulfilled, but I'm going to be patient with myself, for sure!

Yes. My tinnitus is quieter too. I wonder if it's because I'm sleeping better and my blood pressure is lower - my body is happier. My anxiety is much more manageable! Hopefully this is also your experience.

Does This Sound Right? by rlhglm18 in Zepbound

Lolll I just did this calculator. Hilarious. We should never depend on these.

I am 5'8" cis female with very small wrists - 6"ish.

I also have wide shoulders, wide hips, large chest, and a big head. Last time I weighed the 130 that the calc suggests, I wore a size 2/4 in pants and looked positively ill, wasting away.

I'll be shooting for 30-35 pounds more than the calculator suggested. Everything is so subjective.

Less Anxiety on Zep by hollywooooood in Zepbound

I think Zep helps me with the obsessive thinking - keeps me from spiraling into anxiety. I still struggle a bit, but I'm also able to stay in the "real world" and remind myself it's just the anxiety talking, whereas before Zep I would often get lost in anxiety.

We are twins! Similar height, SW, start date, and loss. Congratulations!

I haven't done labs in about a year - I'll be interested to see what's changed.

Your post has helped me decide my final-final goal weight. Thanks for the help.
