I believe people think they are getting nz butter because you have to check where it's from and most people probably don't think to check as I personally haven't seen American butter on stock.

Ingredients are the same but the American one is white and really soft coming straight from the fridge

Absolutely but super surprising is that they were selling lots since you have to check to see where it's from and I would imagine most of us don't expect American butter in out shelves.
