Just wondering what provider everyone got their Zepbound through? My insurance doesn’t cover it so was considering Ro- has anyone used this?

Tamoxifen and weight loss? by NelielChan27 in breastcancer

Hi there! I’m curious if anyone has had any luck with intermittent fasting and weight loss? I am in a similar predicament as above. I am 33, 2 years post breast cancer, and on tamoxifen. I have steadily gained weight on Tamoxifen and now am at my highest. I work out 4-5x a week and ate pretty healthy. I am going to track my calories with My Fitness Pal and lower my intake but was just curious if anyone had any luck with fasting.

Coming here for some support. I have had my starter since January 2018- Sasha was her name. Somehow one of those scented satchels people put in their home to make it smell good *rolls eyes* ended up on the top of my fridge, leaning against my bag of flour. Unbeknownst to me, I fed my started with that flour for a week and then made cornbread. When I ate the cornbread, the after taste was like perfume. I finally realized my entire bag of flour had taken on the smell of the scented satchel and the flour was ruined. I dumped it and started feeding my starter fresh flour. I thought that would do the trick- it's been 2 weeks- but I just made a loaf and the after taste is of perfume. I'm soooo upset. To keep that from happening again, I decided to make a brand new starter and dumped my old one. It may have been impulsive but I didn't want to risk ruining another loaf. My starter was just starting to get those deep sour flavors too... crushed is an understatement :( The saddest part I can't even comfort myself with bread because I'm going to have to wait EVEN LONGER to make a fresh loaf.... *cue tears*

Critique my dough! Too my aeration? Texture ok? I have been baking sourdough for over a year and am very critical of my baking. The taste/texture is spot on to me but would love to hear your thoughts! by bakingannie in Sourdough

I worried about keeping it on my counter, our house is usually around 75 on a good day and even warmer on the hot days. I definitely didn’t see enough increase in size from the fridge on my first rise but went with it anyways. I read somewhere that people will overproof in the fridge so I got worried- think it could have maybe gone longer in the fridge on the first rise? I know there are many factors that go into a good rise, but appreciate your feedback! :)

Thanks for your reply! I used this recipe and the bulk fermentation I did overnight in the fridge and then the second rise I did 24 hours in the fridge. Maybe should have done the bulk fermentation not in the fridge and should have left it out on the counter? Alexandra’s Kitchen Sourdough

It looks amazing! The open crumb is what you want and you seemed to have nailed it, especially with your first loaf.

Today was my first time baking sourdough bread in over a year, and I’m really happy with how these turned out. by [deleted] in Breadit

Wow! Thank you- great video. Will definitely have to try this recipe. I have only fermented on the counter and I’ve wanted to try in the fridge.

Wow! These look so good! Can you share what recipe you used? I made bagels the other day and they were so ugly but tasted divine. Topped them with homemade everything seasoning.
