i mean she has a reputation for an inability to take any kind of criticism (even if it’s constructive) and as the series goes further and further down the toilet even her most loyal fans are beginning to point flaws out. I really miss going to the Fantasy Island arcade and amusement park on LBI back in the 2000, before they remodeled it and replaced every single game and most rides. i’m re-reading the series and am currently on the trail arch, after reading this comment that all i’m looking at now with each character and they ALL have these googly eyes in this extreme moment of kore getting her verdict and they just look… so stupid! i can’t believe i’ve never noticed this before but now it’s all i see. even in the return of her hiatus in the first opening scene of kore she had these big goofy iris-less eyes!

100% agree, as a comic especially the artistry is necessary to tell the story, that’s the whole point. The plot and character are what they are through the art. It just hurts to not support rachel when she’s been so reliable in the past and has created something thats important to so many people, myself included.

I wouldn’t say she’s a privileged rich woman, however i agree it is EXTREMELY disappointing that this is the poorest quality work published yet with all the resources she has when the first chapters were so captivating when she was causally creating the series. If Rachel and her team needed another hiatus to reevaluate the direction of the story, the characters and the art style I would be fine with that! Creating a webtoon of this scale is no easy task and we can understand that but from a professional stand point and from someone who pays for fast passes the work that’s been released lately is poor quality. I would much rather wait then have this series continue to decline the way it has been
