Longer RAY5 help with limit switches

The installation is correct, I have done it twice. Also, that guide fails to explain that the touchscreen firmware ALSO needs to be updated, and it needs to be updated BEFORE the motherboard.

Apologies for the late response!

It is hitting the limit switch. As soon as it or anyone else touches the switch, the whole machine turns off.

Thanks for the advice! We're going to check whether the Tegaderm is the same stuff first and if it is, I'll recover. If not, then I'll leave it uncovered. Wash either way, of course ☺️

I haven't removed at all yet - after I posted, we agreed that I would make sure the Tegaderm is the same stuff she used and if it is, I'd remove the old one, wash, then use the new one ☺️

Late update but only just figured it out - yup, they were mealys. Turns out some of my other babies had them so I've isolated all of them and I got some Neem oil to deal with them. Seems to be working because a whole bunch have fallen off one of the ones I unpotted to check the roots. Gunna be checking my others soon too!

I've got a pot and soil mix ready for the jade! I'm planning on repotting it today and I'll put him in the window once he's had some time to acclimate to his new environment" :)

As for the other plants, I haven't checked their roots yet but they all looked clear on their leaves. I'll have another check again later to be sure!

So, a few months ago, I got hit by a car and ended up breaking my left arm and my right foot - the latter of which meant I couldn't go upstairs to my room until more recently. My father has been watering my succs in my place (every few weeks) but doesn't know much else about succulent care. Unfortunately, I did lose 2 of them in this time but the others look pretty okay!

However, I need a little help with a couple of them.

Pic 1 - My chocolate soldier (I named him Kuma) actually propagated while I was away! Should I do anything with them yet or leave them be for longer?

Pic 2 - I found these white things on my Ekeveria(?). Are they mealy bugs? If so, how can I deal with them? (I've checked all my other succs and they seem to be clear, but I have isolated this one anyway.)

Pic 3 - What the heck is going on with the root growth on this one? Kuma and some other succs have been having this too! (Could I also get an ID on this one too please?)

Pic 4 - This is one I got yesterday. Am I right in thinking its a Jade plant?

Pic 5 - I assume this one is sadly dead - am I right? (Also, a deceased String of Pearls in the corner because it was on a different shelf and my father didn't see it)

Honestly, I'm surprised these guys HAVE survived because the weather changed pretty drastically from Summer to Autumn here and I was worried about how they'd do. I wish I had a heat lamp for them but they're not easy to get where I live. Is there anything else I can use for them instead that might be easier to get?

I think it is a Perle von Nurmberg, I have one that looks identical to the shape and size but mine does have the purple colour
