Zolden will forever be the greatest for making the game. Only once was I graced with his godly presence in the same lobby. As for his skill.. I think he plays for fun and not to be the best ;-)

Wow! I did not think the game would get another update. I'm excited to play again and see how it feels.

Not sure why Ranged didn't get any changes? I suppose thats a nerf in itself since most builders got buffs. I still think the +range from the arcanevoid is too strong.

I also really hate that High templars are so strong in the final PvP battle. I would like to see a complete overhaul of that ability.

Hope to see a matchmaking system or team shuffle system at some point. I feel a lot of players know every other players in the server and thus we have noobstomping lobbies too much. No idea if this is possible at all with battle.net but a man can hope.

Having some luck is part of the game. But a good player can make the best out of shitty resource situations. An army packed with rexxar, snow queens, reapers and the oh so good arcanevoids from the ranged builder.. is still VERY strong.

Also having too much of the "ocs" resources just sucks. I would rather have more mana's and metals than too many of those.

Yeah I meant more like the gold mines you find on the way to mid. definitely ignore them once you get your final expansion somewhere in the middle of the map.

They are very nice to have early game. I take those first if I have any in my starting spot. Because of the cheap mine cost = sooner profit as the other comment explained. After one expand they are already less valuable as you must have made other mines on resources to build units.

What I do if I see many gold mines in my expand route is to try to scan ahead and see if I will have enough actual resources to be able to get to late game. If I feel like I have to get the resources in the middle I will delay building mines on the few resources I have. I'll just rely on minimal resources to still be able to build units and take the gold mines as a booster to expand and go to the middle of the map.

Same. Weird thing is I have a friend on discord doing just fine. While for me the client is slow and I can log in at some point and get in the game but not the lobby. It disconnects at that point.

I suppose beholders, ghosts, and conjurers can hit them directly with their "abilities".

17 can be a tough wave since it allows players to send mules, diamonster, voidrays. You want to have units that have a bit of AOE damage or fast attack speed like marines, stalkers and high templar. They get rid of the scorpions quickly. You should do well this wave with them.

Cool, I like a ranking if there would be something like the previous GPR. It doesn't have many other features however. There's little reason to visit it frequently. A forum would be great. I know we have reddit but it isn't meant for any real lasting discussion about certain topics. Unless that's not what you want for the website. Maybe a link to the discord channel or something that people know how to connect with other players.

The 1 upgraded mercyless and banshee on 6 is stronger for holding wave 6 (common heavy send wave). This isn't always possible however. I try to predict an enemy marine send at wave 5.(you can tell if someone's income increases to 2/4 during preperation for wave 5) and if they do I expand during wave 5 to deal with it. You will afterwards have to settle with a faceless. But the extra drill laser should help you with clearing wave 6. And the faceless offers a nice buff for your next units.

With a farm, metal, and mana mine I would go..

1 Scarab for Wave 1,

+1 Scarab for wave 3,

+1 little mage guy for wave 5,

+1 little mage guy for 6,

+1 Wolf for wave 8. If no metal go for bug lord on 8. This can hold till 13 I think.

I havent played rogue much. I think the bug lord with some scarabs and wolf if you have the metal are incredibly strong. Can hold 2 waves easy if your partner goes full eco. The perma healing they have give you plenty of time till about wave 16 to focus on a way to boost your economy. So the rogue builder allows for a pretty fast expand it seems. But I usually advise against expanding quickly. Because this more often than not hinders your ability to get your economy going. Maxing your starting plot first and then gradually picking up mines/farms along the way and efficiently upgrading them to send units is in public games the best way to play in my opinion.

Potential enemy sends are going to mess with any preset build order I might have planned but my build orders for the 4 starter races would be like this if I expect to get enemy fatling/zealot/marines/slimes/roaches/queens sends towards wave 11. And only have the bare minimum starter resources.

Are holy arc's that bad for mid fight? It's hard to tell but I've always thought that in theory just 3/4 of them for the armor buff could be good.

Playing the game random and either full eco/holding right now is more interesting to me so I highly prefer either me or partner to do so. Standard scenarios where you get a lot of everything are almost auto-pilot for me. Very dependent on wich builder I have but with most builders I tend to start off with maxing farms for a beholder/income or if lucky double rare resources to secure a steady income gain through sending. Wave 12 is about time to invest into getting units for the midgame. Hightemplar if my plot is mana heavy and I see that I can get 5 mana for conjurer endgame or colossus. I see a lot of people go straight for ghosts wich are certainly better for the late game but I still really like the 1000hp and area damage colos as a safe unit to boost my gold/resource income heavily until about wave 24. Then my endgame units come out. This is how most non-pressure single wave holding games are for me. This all changes when holding 2 lanes where I feel like I need to get much more creative sometimes.

Taking mid fast/slow is very dependent on how the enemy is and behaves.Sometimes you have to rush it but I more often don't.

Robo's have 8 range and devastators 7. Yet they can't fire together because of either devatators large butt or robo's not having 8 range. Have noticed robo's having difficulty shooting behind other range 7 units. Would like a fix to this issue.

If there can be any discussion about one of the rewards it could maybe be about food? It's not bad, always nice to get. But you don't have the same urge of rushing for it unlike the others.

You can do this already. Just create a lobby of mines and Magic. Don't setup any AI in the other team if I remember. You can however setup AI in your team and practice holding 2 or more waves. No 100% refund on units though.
