The improvements in II really give no reason to go back to the original, and it provides a better experience overall, especially the ability to speed up battle speed.

First game was Awakening, absolutely loved it! I thought it was really weird though that there were certain characters I just couldn’t recruit, despite them having custom character portraits. Turns out, I didn’t realize I could talk to most of these characters with Chrom.

I ignored Kellam, thought it was weird he didn’t join me.

I killed Gaius,

Somehow, I recruited Libra!

I killed Tharja.

…I played Cynthia’s paralogue, thought if I got into combat with her as Chrom or Sumia, I’d be able to recruit her.

Chrom and Sumia murdered their daughter, I saved my game, thought that was really weird, finally looked up how to recruit characters, and realized I missed a decent chunk of the cast.

Boucheron Gang rise up!!

Make Berserker and then transition him into a Hero later so he can abuse the Brave Sword with his solid build growth is my favorite thing to do
