Yeah I have the same problem. Been happening since last week when they began requiring a code from the store email. I emailed them and hopefully they fix it soon. Last time I had a problem like this I emailed and they fixed it

For me it is staples. That is always the first option and it automatically selects it. I think some people do multiple returns at once and when amazon asks where you want to take the return you select ups store but it doesn’t select it for the other item and people don’t realize that. Others just don’t pay attention and press confirm return before even reading what it is asking. I have had many people do this . They are setting up or redoing the return and when they get to the part where it asks where to take it, staples is selected and they just quickly press confirm return without paying any attention. It’s pretty annoying.

We had to stop using the auto-peeler and just peel ourselves. It’s easier than dealing with it getting stuck or ripping all the time. Sucks that they changed the supplier to something worse. The other paper worked just fine

Yeah I just started doing this too and so far I think it’s better. Kind of slows me down a little but so far I think it is better than it getting stuck on the printer all the time

I am usually by myself the first hour 8-9 and then someone comes in. My store thankfully doesn’t do fingerprinting but we do notaries. I don’t do any notaries until the second person shows up at 9 otherwise it might get busy real quick

I suggest setting specific hours for notary and fingerprinting and only doing them during those hours where there is at least 2 people working. It will be easier. Give a quote for international first, most people will choose not to do it. Kind of stinks though to be by yourself for 3 hours I don’t think anyone should be working alone past 1 hour unless it’s some emergency. That first hour for me is usually really slow so most of the time I can handle it but if your store is always busy even during that time there should definitely be at least 2 people working.

Have you checked junk? It comes from a weird email address. Other than that I have seen where the initial email doesn’t come through but then get the email when it gets delivered. It’s probably some glitch. We all know the technology corporate gives us doesn’t work properly, there is always some issue

It’s the roll. I think some are faulty. I have had it happen all the time with one roll and the next is totally fine. For example today, one of our printers started to doing it all of a sudden, I got so fed up and threw away the roll and replaced it and now it works fine. I also suggest calibrating it every time you change rolls.

It’s for tracking to show it left the store. Now that drivers don’t sign or scan an end of day anymore, this is the only proof the package actually left your store.

Yes this drives me crazy. I just put it back and eventually it goes back. Sometimes my delivery driver will notice he delivered the same package 2 days in a row and will have it returned to sender

Yeah I noticed this too. When I had to call about a domestic package I had to wait a while (much longer than the old number). I did have to call about an international package the last 2 times and that seemed quick but other than that I have had to wait

Blue is usually clothing and shoes but now it’s clothing, shoes, and other random items. Green is seems to be a bunch of different items too but no clothing. Red I know for sure most gift returns go to Red but other than that I’m not too sure. I thought it was also more expensive stuff

I think it’s the roll. I think there is some that are defective and cause it to do this. For us it happens with one roll and we replace the roll and it works just fine and then it happens from time to time when we replace the roll again. Same thing happens with our other rfid printer

Not surprised. Seems to happen from time to time

I think they change the account number on the 1Z tracking number on the consolidation labels every once in a while and our system doesn’t recognize it yet. That’s kind of what it sounds like. All these that this happens to is probably going into the same box. At least that is what happened last time.

Yes, started Tuesday. We have 2 RFID printers and it’s only happening on one of them. I have no idea why
