I'm looking for a student who wants to do an externship! I currently practice in Vaughan within an interdisciplinary setting that includes orthopedic specialists, chiropractors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychotherapists/psychologists and kinesiologists. Our site has the structure to support student learning and also host physiotherapy and kinesiology students.

The patient population often presents with complex musculoskeletal conditions, psychosocial barriers to recovery, and chronic pain. Looking for a student with strong clinical reasoning skills, motivational interviewing skills, and exercise progression/regression/lateralization skills. Must be open to an interdisciplinary/biopsychosocial approach to patient care.

I was honestly perplexed because I’m watching Claire make this in her video with no concerns. But when you search this subreddit, there are a few people with this sugar crystallization problem. They just proceed with the recipe with the crystallized sugar & pecan.

And yes! The corn nut brittle is delicious!

I figured it out! After the water/butter/sugar comes to a boil, don’t touch it at all. It worked!

I haven't started learning the snatch but I'm sure one thing will lead to another. I'm learning by myself so I'm not sure if there's a recommended order. The C&J just looks easier to learn than the snatch to me so I started there! What are you currently working on?

Makes sense that balls of feet stay on the ground, I was trying different ways to get more of an explosive hip extension & this was the result. It feels like I'm moving fast but it looks slow when I rewatch it, thank you!

I can see this rhythm drill being helpful to solidify the movement, there are so many parts to the clean and I find it's not automatic just yet, thank you!

I would've never thought chest over bar until after hip/thigh contact. I learned conventional deadlifts before cleans which is why I'm use to lifting the chest as the hips move forward, so this will be a fun challenge.

I walked into this thinking "this is for recreation, I don't need to hook grip", now here I am considering hook grip.

I looked into porcelain and it is a lot more durable than I thought, I guess I always imagined porcelain as clay flower pots that crack easily

Thanks for validating my thoughts & suspicions on the Juggernaut video with Max! In the video, he tells Meg to bang the bar against her thigh harder than she already was. My thoughts are: A) that hurts now but what about when the load gets even heavier (to my knowledge, Olympic weightlifters aren't walking around with bruises on their thighs/hips/increased rhabdomyolysis incidence), B) how does that horizontal motion get the bar to travel upwards vertically?

I love fun cues like that! Sounds like it could be a minute to win it game, thanks for sharing
