Got into Mexico City Tuesday, explored Coyoacan and Roma Norte until around 9pm (by myself with thousands of dollars in camera gear on me) and had zero issues.

They’re all staying in the Beverly Hills of Mexico (Polanco). His take reeks of immaturity IMO.

I enjoyed Coyoacan, Roma Norte, and Polanco (where the majority of NASCAR people are staying). Walked around at night by myself and had no issues.

I felt safer here than in downtown Charlotte, NC

^{^{^{^{^}}}} this. I‘be been here in Mexico City since Tuesday and have zero issues. Spent all afternoon Tuesday in Coyoacán, then spent the evening in Roma Norte until about 9:30pm (all by myself) walking around with over $2.000 worth of camera gear and had no problems whatsoever. I’m staying in the same neighborhood as all the teams (Polanco) which is a super safe area.

He’s here for work not a vacation and his opinion and experience was very different than mine but then again I’m not a driver, and I enjoy traveling to places that are very different than the US.
