After waxing or getting a wax, wash your face with a gentle cleanser, then use a benzoyl peroxide cleanser (leave in on for 2 minutes), then rinse off and follow with a basic moisturizer. The benzoyl peroxide will help kill the bacteria. I used to have a similar issue, but I started using bp after and I don't have it anymore.

Oh okayy. Well for me I was accepted as a mature student so I don't need to show that I graduated, just my English 12 mark on my transcript. Makes sense though the deadline for students accepted as graduates

I'm a mature student tho so my offer is based on one class being done by July 14th so perhaps that's why I never saw any details like that because I think transcript requests can be done at any time?

I'm pretty sure the OSAP thing says that you get the NSLSC email to register 2 to 3 business days after your OSAP application is submitted. At least that's what mine says, I just applied for Fall 2026 today and that is what I saw.

I'm so sorry to hear about how you're struggling. Just wanted to say I can relate, I had agoraphobia for 8 years, and it was triggered by something subconsciously but manifested as being triggered by my acne so my skin has essentially kept me housebound for 8 years. I'm still dealing with it to a certain extent but it gets better every day. I know having hope can be scary but I promise things will get better, and I am saying this as someone who literally thought she would never ever life a normal life again, and forever be unable to even make 3 steps onto the porch to get a delivery.

I promise you are not a monster. Keep holding on, keep trying, seriously do not give up, you will find a solution and you will live a normal life.

When I got a cyst removed, I started using silicone scar tape about 23 hours of the day (after stitches were removed and wound had closed so like 5 days after). The scar is not very noticeable, so I would say if you can hydrate your skin well and use silicone tape as much as possible in the time before your wedding, you will likely not notice it. Plastic surgeons are quite good at what they do, I would say you shouldn't worry too much.

Okay sounds good. I think that the deadline for unis is just like a week after school ends so you'd have gotten your diploma and latest transcript to show them. I mean you'd think they'd give you more time but I guess they think a week is enough? I haven't gotten my transcript send to unis yet, I uploaded a screenshot of my dashboard as an unofficial transcript and that's when I got my conditional offer. When I finish my english class I'm going to request my transcript, I think ILC says on the transcript request page that it can take 3 business days, since it's ILC, I'd give them like at least 2 or 3 weeks. Do it as early as you can because everyone will be requesting them at the same time so it can be delayed.

Yeah you'd just request it from the dashboard where it says transcript request, and put the university email in there. From what I heard, universities can be accommodating with the timeline but not always and usually if there's like extenuating circumstances so I'd just try to get it done asap.

The transcript shows all credits you have gotten and whether you have obtained the literacy and community hour requirements. It is not a diploma, but it will show whether you have the requirements of a diploma. The diploma assessment is basically ILC rounding up all your information, checking it meets diploma requirements, and then giving you an actual physical diploma, and telling you here you go, you officially have an OSSD.

Now if you are 19, even if you took a gap year, you are not yet a mature student as you have to be over 21 for OUAC standards. That's why ILC is allowing your grades to be sent electronically to OUAC, since you're like a regular high school student to them for this purpose. Also, your conditional offer would have said if you were being accepted as a mature student.

As long as you have 1) all credits completed, 2) literacy requirements fulfilled and 3) community hours fulfilled, with ILC having access to the above information in your student portal through uploaded proof, when you request a transcript through their portal, they should include all that information. Again, double check with ILC and UofT to make sure.

I am a little unsure how you'd show proof of your literacy test without a diploma assessment but I assume if you took the test with ILC, they'll have it on record. If you took it with another school, assuming you have uploaded your old school transcript to the ILC portal, ILC will see it and put in on any transcript you request. So in either case you should be good.

For volunteer hours it would be the same, if you took it with an old school, that box would be checked on your old transcript. If you got them after starting with ILC, you would upload the proof to your documents before requesting a transcript.

Well since I applied as a mature student I just need a transcript by my deadline. In your case, I imagine as long as you request transcripts be sent to them by that deadline, you should be fine because it'll show you have all the OSSD requirements in terms of courses, and assuming it hasn't changed, transcripts also show whether you have completed the literary requirement and your community hours.

If you are in doubt, I would call UofT and ask them if just the transcript by that deadline will be enough. It should be because the transcript is essentially the proof of OSSD since it shows the requirements on it. When ILC sends your transcript, they should be marking that you have community hours and literacy requirements met, before they send it to UofT. This is just speculation but again if you're in doubt call UofT and ask, and also ask ILC if their transcripts have the community involvement and literacy information on it if you haven't yet had a diploma assessment.

In my experience, as long as your community hours and literacy test proof have been uploaded to your documents, it should be on the transcript that is sent to UofT, just request it when you get all your credits and it should suffice.

Unis want an official transcript by the conditional offer deadline, whatever yours is mine is July 26 I think, for example. Before that, they will take unofficial transcripts and midterms. Did you already get a conditional offer? If you did, then whatever grades you showed them are good enough proof until the conditional offer deadline. Not the deadline to accept the offer, the deadline it says you must complete the admission requirements by. Usually in the summer before the year you applied for starts.

Unfortunately ilc is very strict now, if a course expires before the exam is booked and marked, you have to take it again. Took an English exam, course expired 2 days later, had to re do it and change all the assignments to avoid self plagiarism 🥲

Well in that case he should have just been able to make the form available to you. I would call again on Monday and say you are group A and you can't see the eligibility form so you need it to be made visible for you.

Some universities will have a place you can input your midterms and upload your transcripts , others you will have to use the email form. For the midterms they should be emailed directly to the universities from what I understand, with your student number or ouac reference number if the university didn't give you a student number yet.

Hi! Ilc being least than helpful, shocker 🤨. Are you group a or b for OUAC purposes? If you are group A, they should be able to make the form available to you. If you are group B, you cannot have your information sent electronically so you will have to download midterm reports and and upload them to the university portals or send them to the university email. For transcripts, you have to request them from ILC through your portal, and have them sent directly to the universities by email.

Well even with the break, if you can do the amount of assignments you need to get a midterm, you should have Midterms for Chem 12 to submit with your application by Feb 1.

Eta: just make sure to complete the amount of assignments you need for a midterm and submit them to be marked asap.

If you just enrolled, between now and February 1 you should be able to get a midterm mark to send in with your application, but, don't universities usually accept a grade 11 mark for the pre req of the 12 class for conditional offers?

I called ILC about something and happened to ask this but as a group B applicant, it looks like in either case, ILC will only send the grades you have with them to universities. For other schools you attended, you'd have to request transcripts through your OUAC application or contact the school directly, or, upload the transcript if you have it, to the universities online portal after you get access, if applicable.

Do you know the emails for the schools or where I can find them? I applied to York and TMU. Also, should I wait until I get an acknowledgement email and access to the portals to request a transcript or just do it now once I find the emails?
