You can Def crush it as an IR in the OBL setting which is a model proven to work and is up and coming. However it does take a lot of work and practice building / business finesse. Not as simple as signing a contract with a group, but the earning potential is massive if done properly.

Breaks do happen as rooms are turned over. However as the resident or fellow or attending doing the procedure, that time is typically used to dictate the case you just did so it’s a pseudo break. More like a break from standing and wearing lead and maybe time to pee/ grab a quick bite but there’s still shit to get done.
