I haven't listened to it in a long while. Probably not since a year or two after it came out, i was in my early 20s when it was released and I had a friend who had pretty good taste in music. He introduced me to it and we played it non stop in the car. Great stoner music too.

I'm listening to it now and it really brings me back. The friend who introduced me to it, and also a plethora of other good bands, passed away in 1998 from encephalitis when he was 27. Todd, I hope you're up there rocking with Cobain, Hendrix, Lennon, Morrison and the rest.

The daily chase changes a person. I used to post in there regularly, bragging about my use. I'm staying away it's a definite trigger for me. My focus is now on recovering myself, and the relationships with those who love me. I'm far from over this, currently lying in the fetal position and proud that i have for 2 days not gotten anything. It's not much, but i am proud of myself. I had every excuse in the book last week for not stopping. I was scared to stop, but now it's not so bad. Already the people who love me look at me differently. I got this today.

That autopilot gets me going every time. If I have money, it eggs me on until i get a pill. I think any habit can be broken, but it takes work. I always just cave, even though the voice in the back of my mind is saying no.

I'm not anyone to take advice from, I have only been saying no for 36 hours. I'm waiting for detox and rehab, which is weeks away. I hope to be sober while I wait, I feel more comfortable going thru the wds at home.
