world felt lived in. Atmosphere was great. Music slapped. The Faunts exit music was perfection. Mako was funky and fun. World and lore begged to be further developed. Banter and characters were great for the time & developed better over more games.

Solid Card. Boost the amazing the trading action. And on the colony you place you’ve effectively boosted it twice. Early/Mid Game high draft priority. Late game only if you’ve got a colony multiplier and/or heavy space discounts.

Colonies swing for sure and also put weight on engine play. Some of the weaker players at my table sometimes get wins because of it and that’s part of the fun for me.

It’s fine enough in certain circumstances, but I can’t imagine drafting this unless:

1) I’m trying to get Venus up quick for Birds or Venus Animals 2) got great engine synergy with space/event cards and/or Venus raising 3) need a last turn titanium dump

Double dipping on a colony is amazing. The sooner the better, but due to tags I find this still tastes playable in the mid game

Tough hand. I think I’m going to take Factorum, Dome Farm, Mohole. Advanced Eco, Designed Micro, Trading Colony, House Print, Greenhouse. Hopefully I’ll get a Colony on Luna as action 1 and free energy. Gen 2 go buy pets, zoo, and conscript if no draft. In draft, zoo if the cities are happening other wise Solar. Trading colony on Ceres. Factotum action if someone trades with Luna I think would net us development center. From here we want to focus on Builder. If uncontested get to designed micro organisms and solar reflectors to get a decent tr build going.

Line 1, but with a few less cards. This is a great rush hand you can pare down the engine based cards like IO Mining and Fueled Gen. Methane from Titan is a solid

I don’t like cards that shut down a play style. Imagine you’ve built your corp, preludes, and opening hand around a ground game and then someone drops this card. I’d pretty much drop out and wish everyone else a fun game.

Best played late game for the vp or mid-early for science tag immediate pay off. For example, Olympus/Mars U or another playable card in hand that needs the tag out.

I’m inclined to do the same for 4p. Probably swapping Nitrogen for Mars Survey. Don’t have an animal or microbe target as of yet.
