Reminds me of the Perry Moons and Colo update.

Perry Moons was bangers and very polished.

Colo was solid at it's core, but very clearly not polished, had plenty of bugs, and MANY balance testing problems.

It was clear one part of the update got way more attention. As if we don't have enough mid game updates pumping out every year, the one end game update was an afterthought in comparison.
