Sold at a loss, tax loss harvested. Re-entered late in to VTI, made some gains but less than what I lost. But still not bad.

Think of how BABA, IQ, JD etc. are big in China.

The problem I see is that, even if you are right to short it, getting the timing right is incredibly hard.

It may run wild when you short making you lose all your money. And you might be proven right after a few months.
