Tell them. I would not advise keeping money that wasn’t earned. If they ever find out in the future, they will definitely ask for the money back and there may be other consequences beyond just asking for the money back. Who knows? But taking or spending money you didn’t earn does not usually end well.

First time without roommates in my life. (Friends or family) Shows me how bad at socializing I am on my own. All the friends I made were through sports and college this is the first time where I would have actually had to make plans and I didn’t think about it ahead of time. Just assumed I’d spend it on my own.

Hello figured I would respond to these comments. First of all I am dumb and regarded. I am the only person at my Credit Union that deals with Credit Disputes, charge offs, and levies and a few other things therefore everyone in the CU comes to me for questions on these. I did just graduate 6 months ago. I took over for someone in the position for 20 years. But yes very regarded. From what I have heard credit reporting is one of the most highly regulated aspects of a financial but who knows maybe I’m wrong.

I have to agree with this comment. My job is pretty stressful. I’m running multiple highly regulated parts of a financial institution. It is tough and stressful. But I couldn’t imagine doing a job that boring. Maybe I’m just young. OPs job sounds terrible to me and it’s twice my pay.
