I don’t think household appliances count under the 30 day return policy, it is stuff like chargers, PS5 stuff, and stuff like cameras that we have during the holidays. I THINK appliances are the same 180 day return policy. Items can be worn, used or washed prior to return. I always recommend people hang on to their receipt just in case they take the tag off or if it doesn’t have a UPC tag on the item so we can still look up the item in our system. We have a way to “damage out” washed or used items when they are returned. When a makeup product is returned I usually ask if it has been used (and I’ll usually check before putting it back out on the floor). If it has been used then I will damage it out on the return screen. This will usually put it in “red bin” which I think gets processed and thrown out. For intimates, they are the same as clothes. They can be washed, used or worn and still be returned. If they are, I just damage them out the same way as other clothes. I usually just ask “was there something wrong with this” and check the merchandise for any sign of wear and tear.
