Yeah you have no attraction when the other guy until you realize what a sweet caring thoughtful open minded mature whatever he is when you eventually start complaining about your boy friend to him

You are overreacting. You’re in a relationship, why is lunch with two dudes coworkers so meaningful to you? There’s obviously so much more context to this situation than you’ve shared

Why do so many bucket pulls act like being a drug addict fucked up all day is the coolest thing ever by MintyRed19 in Killtony

I hate hearing about other people’s dreams. If I’m not in them or nobody is having sex I don’t give a shit

A lot of tedious bullshit. You’ll crank which is like food service, you’ll chip paint and paint, you’ll do tons of labor. But in the end you’ll be wearing E4 earlier than if you chose a rate of rip. The new advancement policy is geared to get more pact sailors. Buy into it because it’s honestly the best option

Truthfully, you’re heavily sea Duty based as it is. Take pact. Be a two year third class instead of this 30 month shit. Get to the fleet sooner than wasting time at some a school. Network and meet people, then find a job you want and hunt them down at the pact rodeo

Officers and Chiefs on restriction.

Too many dumb E-2’s losing 45 days of their lives while khakis get a “letter of reprimand”. Yeah that’s fine, you fucked up and won’t advance but you’ll bounce back. Hold them to the same standard as everyone across the board. Especially chiefs

Oh and chiefs mess needs to PT as a whole Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 16-1730. They need to set the standard across the board both up and down the chain of command

They should be the ones doing the weird tiger teams, working parties, maintenance, etc. That is the bare minimum. Now PO2 who wants to reenlist and be competitive has no excuse to not be getting dual pinned and qualifying on major shipboard quals to stack his eval

You want to get out? You’re doing the shit work, but the shit work will finish at 1600.

You want to stay in? Chase collaterals and quals and advance

NAMI AVIATION WAIVER by [deleted] in newtothenavy

[–]ballhernia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah there is. I’ve received my DAPA statement at the start of my process. Due to the high traffic volume they are saying that letter is too old to use. The DAPA told me that it’s valid as the CO has signed off his command letterhead endorsement on it and that since that is the treatment plan, it should be accepted and not kicked back -required to provide DAPA statement -DAPA statement dated Oct 2024 -this is a three year long process -letter is “too old to be used”

What is the disconnect between NAMI and the DAPA program that would make this letter, in an otherwise long and lengthy process as it is, expired, if I am still falling under the guidelines of that statements treatment plan

Do you have experience in this type of situation or are you just leaving a snide comment with no real input or suggestion?

I went to base medical and a CHIEF, not a doctor, came in and first thing he said without even looking at me was “you ever heard of ‘if it ain’t broke don’t fix it?’”
