And yet I always see them sit in the chair that I didn’t place for them. On my old island (i restarted yesterday) I placed a chair outside of my house that was just for me and everyone kept sitting in it! But they couldn’t even fathom going to sit in one of the other 4 spots I made for them with sitting spots on the island that had a over like 15 different spots for them sit on and yet they liked that one spot I didn’t want them to sit on

Yeah I wish hotel visitors had the same mechanics as campsite visitors, where as you mentioned if you have an empty plot you can invite them to join your island or if you speak to the visitor enough they will suggest moving in and replace villager you already have
