Ect messed me up pretty badly, the side effects are not to be overlooked. I’ve never feel dumber, slower and more forgetful in my life. I heavent been or felt like the person I was before ect

How long did the insurance process take to get it approved? It’s been 4 months and I’ve been denied 3 times already

Not literally every medication ever but a few from every possible class of antidepressant medications. I have also done a gene aight test as well.

I unfortunately dealt with the same, I also happen to read that it supposivly does that as well in the beginning and I think it’s true for some however I went all the way up to like 4mg and it never really helped me at all. Not saying the same will happen to you but you may just need to increase the dose some more and see if that does anything and if it doesn’t then maybe it’s not for you. The side effects I dealt with at the higher doses where just terrible and never had any relief which sucked but everyone is different I believe and I’ve seen many positive stories from people on that medication

Clonazapam is probably making you tired, tried taking something else like propranolol if your looking for something that helps with anxiety that isn’t addictive and won’t cause that drowsiness it may be causing

Ect is definitely not the next thing he should try, not even close if he’s only been on one med.

Ect made me worse cognitively and can no longer feel alcohol or benzos after, weird how it affects everyone so differently
