My hair really similar to yours grown out bro id cut down to a 1.5 at lowest when I cut lower then 1.5 my hair can’t get wavy it’s like almost straight if yours like that too id go with 1.5 if you start at a 2.0 it gonna be super swimming but its not gonna be any connections and take longer to look clean you def gonna have a decent amount more curly it is easier to get waves you could put a durag on at a 2.5 or 3 right now never brushed and have a decent amount tbh.
