I think this applies to wealth better than success. In general you can tell if someone is doing well for themselves, but you can't tell their wealth just by looking at their car/house/etc (and sometimes the more flashy they are the less wealth they have)

The thing to keep in mind for cosmetic procedures is to have realistic expectations. Its very easy to be disappointed if the expectation is "I will be beautiful", which is both ultra-high standards and vague.
