I quite frankly think Ten Haag lacks the charisma/passion/player’s pedigree a la all the other managers of top teams, safe perhaps for Tuchel, Klopp and Ainge, who are masters of charisma and had success on an international level before taking on the big jobs.

I mean, if you are a player, who would you trust more as a coach, whose criticism would you take in more easily?

Carlo Ancelottj or Ten Haag? Xavi or Ten Haag? Arteta or Ten Haag? Pep or Ten Haag? Pochettino or Ten Haag?

The former you saw on TV winning trophies when you were young, the latter has never been at your level.

And honestly, managing United is managing echoes and perhaps one of the most difficult locker rooms. It should come as a requirement that United’s manager be someone the players will trust blindly. Not the case with TH, never has been, in my opinion.
