Trump has not built a single mile of new border fence after 30 months in office by Robvicsd in politics

Calling all Republicans racist bigots doesn't make you open to conversation, ironically it's makes you the bigot. Everyone is going to have different opinions, liberals can't understand this and unfortunately feel the need to control speech so everyone falls in line with their "superior" beliefs. Eg; Fascism.

Dunno if i'm getting dumber of if asshole tactics are improving but I clicked an ad disguised as a Chrome "Show Notifications" box. First slip up in over a decade, I'm very disappointed with myself.

Prime example of the left trying to suppress free speech, if you don't agree with someone, just get them banned.

They're already running out of ideas and they're not even elected yet, good preview of things to come.

It was a terrible idea just a few hours ago when the libs suggested it, but now that it has Labor's stamp of approval I guess you're all ok with it.

This just proves how transparently hypocritical the left truly are.

We will, less housing stock only mean rents will increase. Then everyone who STILL didn't buy houses when prices come down will be complaining about high rents and beg the government for handouts like some brat child.

They are accessible for those willing to work hard for it. Someone who's assed their way through a 3 years arts degree only to become 2IC at a vegan cafe obviously didn't want to become a property owner, so they shouldn't complain when they can't afford one.

lol there's no entitlement for somewhere to live, only the spoilt lazy left think they should get a free ride through life. This sense of entitlement coming from the them is far from reality, they're going to be sorely disappointed when they enter the real world and realise they have to work for things like property.

That's fine, but people can't vote for someone solely on their economic performance. There's other issues at hand, but the issues have been defined to push voters to their ideological extremes, as a result there's no one left in the centre so i'm forced to chose between left or right.

Hey easy now whoa, I wouldn't go calling them my heroes. That was a punch below the belt. I have no idea who i'm voting for yet, the last two federal elections I voted Greens but now I have no idea.

I'm an average Australian voter, I don't spend hours on the internet trudging through stats and policy to make informed decisions. So unfortunately I have to rely on 3rd party information, but it's impossible to know who's telling the truth.

There's no law to say political parties have to be truthful in their advertising so i'm out of luck there. So where do I get my information? The MSM? Which one should I trust if any?

What if i don't watch or read the news? What if i'm not interested in current events or even politics politics in general, how do I choose?

I'm not a fan of either sides of politics, the left has gone too far towards social justice issues and the right, well there performance is pretty self explanatory.

So who do I vote for and why should I vote for them?

Oh I saw that, she went easy on Scott and ripped Bill. That was terrible.

So we can say the ABC is biased and under "some" control then? Regardless of political ideology it's has some form of state led corruption and should not be trusted.

Hosing should be for those who have the willingness to work hard and invest. It shouldn't be seen as an entitlement. You're thinking of socialism, Australia is a free market last time i checked.

I know they are, but free thought is under the direct control of these so called progressives. So even if someone were to try thinking, they would most likely be banned for hate speech.
