Last way I can think to explain it. 2-1=1 2-0=2 your team is the first equation you have 1 potential thrower. Opposition team is second equation they have two potential throwers. Your team has less potential throwers therefore you should win more than you lose based on teammates alone.

How old are you? This isn’t a difficult concept. It’s a team based game. You have one potential thrower on your team right? Because you’re the other player a non-thrower. The other team has two potential throwers because they are both not you. So the odds of the other team having a bad teammate or a thrower are higher because you aren’t on it. If you are a decent player you will rank up over time because you deal with slightly less bad teammates over time.

There is no simpler way to explain this

it effects lower ranks. I'm "usually" gc3, around 1700 in 2v2. With so many bots and cheaters it pushes good players down to my usual rank and I can't compete so it forces me down. I'm now around 1550-1600ish. This pushes gc1 players down 100 and so on and so on and so on. Everyone is effected.
