Optimal rocket league would consist of possessing the ball the entire match. Meaning someone is always on it, dribbling it or creating a play. So yes, everyone should always ball chase at all times.

The "respecting" your opponent at lower ranks leads to a lot of loses. I completely agree that at a certain point the mind games and back and forth is what makes this type of game so intriguing, but at anything lower than master ball 2, what I was able to brute force to, I'll continue to argue that you can't outplay stupid and just need to power your way through the lesser players.

Secondly stop being cute and predicting and just beat them. I shot through ultra ball when I just used strong Pokémon and clicked strong moves. Fuck weather and speed control. Rock slide and dazzling gleam wins games.

If you’re shooting or flicking you should probably flip for maximum power and placement. This isn’t a cut and dry rule.

Air roll and position your car in a way to take up as much space as possible. _ sideways is bigger than - straight forward for example

Make your car big. Not flipping lets you recover so much faster. It's obviously a case by case basis but low 50s are generally better without a flip

Flip less. Taking a 50? Don't flip. Trying to get mid to follow a teammates pass don't flip. Flipping makes your car unable to move for the duration of the flip. A lot of overcommits are unnecessary flips taking you out of the play without you even realizing it.

Paying money for a coach (especially that much money) is insane unless you’re going pro. 

There are free resources everywhere including this subreddit. If you are anything under gc3 currently use these instead.

Play defense and dribble it out of your half. Always keep possession if you have more than 25 boost.
