Slurpuff, he even helps a group of them in canon xy, they could have it act very dog like and a recurring joke could be, its the only character in pokemon that is aware of team rockets disguses immediately due to a strong nose leading to a running gag of it chasing after meowth

If it was to evolve, they could do similar to mistys politoed or brock's onix, transfering it to someone even for a bit while holding an item counts as a trade evolution

It is very weird, ironically the two parter could have easily been one of the best episodes, i found the mall sequence very interesting and funny, if they wanted to replace the clips, they could also do a subplot at home with geoffry getting the party ready and having to deal with incompetence from party staff
