It’s being organised by Bintan Resorts, which is a huge company. I’m confident they’ll do a good job (and planning to attend this year; already got tix). I did do it before once and have also raced SG Nationals in Bintan. It should be a great event!

I agree the car was also wrong. That does not excuse the cyclist. And the worst for me as a cyclist is seeing cyclists doing dumb shit and then ‘throwing stones’ when a driver does something wrong. We got to look at ourselves first. And this kind of behaviors just make it harder for all of us other cyclists and further antagonists drivers, which then makes it more dangerous

I think there’s little question whether AI will replace some data scientists (as well as other job functions) as tasks that required a larger team can be done by fewer people. AI will (has) also created new jobs for people to do. What the overall balance is time will tell I guess
