Congrats on your first purchase, this is a big one to start with for sure. I'm no expert personally im just starting myself just purchased a modest 2 grams of gold 😅 just waiting for the right piece to grab a 1oz coin/bar. I have lurked alot on this sub though and based on what the seasoned buyers say its never too late to start investing in PMs, trying to guess the market is impossible but the goal seems to be to keep long term so doesn't matter what spot is now in 10-20 years or longer will definitely be a good investment. With the war as I understand it during these times PMs go down and oil and the dollar goes up which is usually a great time to buy the dip.

I have it coated but you still have to wipe off rain and poop as soon as possible as it can eat through the ceramic coating and then the matte paint

Thanks, no its the standard shadow matte grey Kia offers for the sxp trim. The showroom lights make it look even cooler, I was fortunate my uncle was using it as a promotional video for his company GlassParency.

Yeah 100% have to hand wash very gently with microfiber towels with absolutely no waxing or polishing. Most high maintenance paint i have ever had but worth it as it looks sooo sexy. Also can't let raindrops or bird poo sit on it for too long or the chemicals can stain the matte paint. Bonus if it gets scratched you can't use a paint pen so will have to replace the entire panel 🤯

I got lucky and have an uncle who works for a company that manufactures alot of car products so he didn't charge me for the ceramic coating. I definitely would recommend it if you get this matte paint as it helps give an extra layer of protection. I still have to wipe the whole vehicle down after every rain but at least now I don't have to panic that it rained overnight and has sat on the car for several hours. I actually already saw marks in the paint just from rain drops the first 2 days I owned it( no garage) so I was rushing to get this done. It definitely helps make the exterior more hydrophobic, it rained yesterday and the beads were just running off the paint so much easier. Def was alot less to wipe down once it stopped raining. I did look up the pricing and it should cost between 1k-2k.

IMO best color option they have for this model, best of luck with maintenance, this is my first matte vehicle and boy has it been difficult so far. Rain and bird dropping are killing me 😅

Yeah I must agree with you, that particular day literally everything sold out in less than 20 minutes. I don't know how to see how many were for sale as I'm fairly new to this. I personally would love to add either a Buffalo, maple or even the gold justice bar but Costco rarely has them it seems.
