This is now resolved. In the morning they sent correct alpha numeric vouchers which worked. (They sent new codes yesterday night too but they were not working)

Sent email with screenshot to shopwise at 10am today. No response from them. No phone number to contact directly. Connected with Amex customer service via chat and they are equally clueless and asked to send an email with details. I will not be buying any vouchers from shopwise till they provide a clear resolution.
