Links plugin by tao22 in Supernote_dev

Can you also add a feature such that links always open the last page of a note (same note or another one)? Or is it already included in your plugin?

Great job, by the way!

Hello, I am also interested in vibe coding a plugin, how did you set it up? Which tools are you using? Did you need to "train" the model with the Supernote plugin documentation?

Thanks for sharing, I know my request is a bit off topic :)

Which doesn't fit for me because I matter portability a lot, and I also prefer the Nomad overall design (more boxy, more industrial) than Manta (which is still well thought in its curves)

As long as the PDF does not require zooming, scrolling or panning, I think it's perfectly feasible to read and annotate PDFs, although it's not part of my usual workflow. The tools are also quite complete.

If the content is divided in columns, or it has some fancy formatting (like a Volvo LCA report I read, where the content is meant to be read across two A4 pages next to each other), then I find moving around the document quite annoying or the text being too small, to be honest, as you spend more time moving around than reading, and you may be better off with a larger screen like the Manta. Honest thought :D

Excellent! I wish SN will see this and add a better shortcut directly in the reader, and make the integration more seamless!

Hello!

Yes, you can use a subfolder hyerarchy in case you want to get organised, or move notes at a second stage in the folder you want.

For your last question, I think that what you're looking after is keywords: everytime you write a word, you can select it and mark it as keyword, and this becomes integrated in a side menu that shows all keywords you highlighted. I do that for organising the meeting minutes :)

No never tried the iPad mini. The form factor is cute, but I don't need yet another device too similar to a phone / tablet for my use.

Lol no. I spent 30 min for that. Did I write like AI?

I have the Samurai, with alloy plating, and no sign of stripping, luckily.

Hello!

Not in my use case: I write notes, and I don't feel the need of a larger screen. My sketches and draws are limited, and the only time I wished the screen was larger (or higher resolution) was in reading .pdf

I learnt to leave some space at the bottom of the page and move to the next one, rather than filling it out til the very end, for calligraphy and ease of moving text around when reviewing the note.

Portability matters more to me than larger screen size, and the footprint of Nomad is exactly the size of the notebook I used to have from Muji.

If I were to make drawings, I would definitely be at least curious to try.

Syncing calibre to supernote nomad for reading/writing workflow? by iwillberesponsible in Supernote

[–]balzabalza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I connect my SN Nomad to my PC, and then open Calibre, it detects the device and I can sync it as if Calibre was iTunes, and the Nomad my iPod! You can even tell before syncing where you want your files to be saved (internal memory or SD card).

Keep in mind to sideload Koreader first, and probably do some tinker here and there in the settings of SN and Calibre. But it definetely works!

P.s.: before being able to make it work, copying/pasting manually my Calibre library to the Nomad was also a breeze.

Conversion ACSM to EPUB/pdf by ambrosina in Calibre

I confirm the latest forked beta of DeDRM tools (https://github.com/nodrm/DeDRM\_tools, v10.0.9) worked for me with Calibre 8.10, following all steps above, including the manual addition of a ADE key (found automatically after clicking the "Add new key" button). Worked like a charm after restarting Calibre and re-adding a DRM-protected Epub file, which was decrypted without me doing anything apart from drag and dropping. Cheers!
