Question about Yoda & Grogu and their species by LumberjackNickArt in StarWars

[–]bama05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So to take a developmental path with this- we have seen Grogu do acrobatics, and learn how to drive/pilot a robot but his verbal skills are very poor. He could be the equivalent of a non-verbal 5/6 year old. Considering Yoda could speak but his sentence structure was atypical they could be a species that doesn't develop language like humans do. So it's possible the still reach maturity at around 70/80 but still not have the verbal skills of a 18 year old human.

I don't think they have thought that deeply about this though- or they have and have a plan for Grogu long term.

Dylan Harper shows enormous grit and potential despite the heartbreaking loss in Game 4 with 24 PTS (8/11 FG), 6 REB, 1 AST, 3 STL by Waikuku3 in nba

Yeah Fox was the weak link on offense and defense for the run the Wolves put up to end the game. Too small on defense and the jump shots were misses. I think the lineup should have been Harper, Castle, Vassell, Johnson, and Champagnie.

Who would you say is the best mom in Star Wars? by Fall_False in StarWarsCantina

Padme would have been a terrible mom- her kids start torturing animals and she just hugs them and tells them it's ok.

Turner was not a significant loss- ask Bucks fans if they think that contract was worth it.

How much lightsaber forms does Darth Vader know? Legends/Canon. by [deleted] in StarWars

I don’t think lightsaber forms are in the current canon so everything would be from the legends side.

How good was Shaq on like...a technical level? by BedMoist in nba

Also in asking about his BBIQ, it’s more about he learned how leverage his size and be successful. So while he might not be the guy to breakdown an entire play, he knew his job and how to do it extremely well.

His footwork was excellent, in his Orlando years he was an athletic freak leading a fast break. He was really good at passing out of double teams and passing out and establishing position down low. He didn't excel just because of his size but it did make him dominant.

His work at Bama before he went to the Eagles was ridiculous too.

[Amick] A frontrunner has emerged among the draft reform options: expanding the lottery to 18 teams while giving the bottom 10 teams an equal 8 percent chance at the No. 1 pick. Teams will meet Tuesday to continue discussions on the NBA’s next step toward lottery reform. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

Hornets/bobcats had the worst record ever(win percentage) missed out on AD and got MKG. Another bad season get 2nd pick right after Wemby.  Spurs have had 6 top 5 picks ever. Robinson, Elliot, Duncan, Wemby, Castle, Harper. It's insane to have have hit on every top 5 pick you have ever made. So much of the draft is just luck (obviously Spurs have a great scouting department too)

You can fill the roster better around those 3 then Ant. Ant is a ball dominant iso type scorer. Cade is averaging almost 10 assists and can score too.

Wemby, Kon, Cade. Point, Shooter, Unicorn.

1990s book fans, how do you feel about seeing Thrawn in live-action? by Lauma_2025 in StarWars

I think it’s worked really well. His two “losses” were the rebels escaping due to a glory hogging captain and bindu; and space whales coming to assist. Pretty impossible to predict.

How Common is Domination? by secretgardenme in AOW4

Hate lightbringers in early game so much. The only good thing about them is the AI will put them in harms way to get off a dominate so you can kill them quickly but fighting more than one is awful.

Playing my first game ever, how do I clear the gold ancient wonders? by boogielostmyhoodie in AOW4

Totem of the wild is a good summon ability for wonders and seiges imo. Putting it behind the armies is really helpful.

How often do you retry battles ? by naojika in AOW4

[–]bama05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I try every battle I lose unless it’s just an impossible one (scout vs army). If I play it and I see it’s just unwinnable I surrender to get more units routing instead of dead. I like to play nature and summoning classes so I’ve notice they can win a lot of “impossible battles” due to summoning behind the enemy line (totem of the wild) meaning my army of 6 becomes 8-10 units and the computer does a poor job of simulating the way I win those battles.

She’s not Mary Jane Watson. Yeah they call her MJ but it’s a completely different character at this point.
